How to Keep Up on World News When You Have Time Constraints?

You may like to keep up on the world news this week but may simply not have time to read every news story every day. RSS readers are great for people who have time to go through them but not everyone may have enough time or patience. Thankfully, you can keep up with the latest news without spending a lot of time by using following alternatives.

1. Look for the Daily Summary You Like

If you love watching or listening to the news, you can catch up on everything you miss by watching an hourly summary on news channels that is run throughout the day. It includes all the important happenings which are jammed into a quick five to ten minute slot.

2. Use Current Events Portal from Wikipedia

You can check the current events page from Wikipedia and see the latest happenings in the world this week. If you just need to catch up what you have missed while you were on vacation simply type month and year in the Wikipedia's search bar to get brief synopsis of all the important news of the month.

3. Curate the Social Media Feeds

Both Facebook and Twitter are great places where you can find popular news articles. On Twitter you can add few news outlets to a list and check what is going on periodically. Facebook though doesn't have the same filtering ability as Twitter; however, when you like a news station you are generally shown the most important news stories of the day.

So, it is possible for you to keep up with the latest happenings in the world without overwhelming yourself by following above methods.
